My work is an interpretation of a biological and anatomical aesthetic that I have both observed and imagined. It attempts to articulate a kind of beauty of the internal body that is hidden from view. It is a beauty that resides beneath our skin and our fears of our own mortality.

My artistic inquiry is informed by corporeality, saintly reliquaries, cabinets of curiosity, my sensibilities, and my heritage as a refugee. It is rooted in the exploration of what it means to be human and the power we instill in objects of worship and objects of art.
